Welcome to the dog beach on Spiekeroog – a little oasis of freedom on the eastern part of the North Sea beach. A quiet dune path leads you and your four-legged friend directly to the wide sandy shore, where digging, playing and splashing are more than welcome. The spacious off-leash area invites dogs to enjoy plenty of exercise – in the winter months, however, a leash is required to protect the flora and fauna of the Wadden Sea. Humans won’t miss out either: cozy beach chairs are available right at the dog beach and can be reserved online in advance. What’s missing? Restroom facilities – there are none here, so it’s best to use those at the main beach before or after your visit. Whether on a relaxed evening walk at sunset or during joyful playtime – at Spiekeroog’s dog beach you and your dog will experience a North Sea holiday full of lightness, open space, and fresh sea air.
